Whatever crosses I have, whatever struggles I will endure in life or even during this particular Lent, the only thing that will give me hope of overcoming them is trusting in God’s perfect will. One of my favorite quotations, though I’m uncertain of the source, is To trust in God is one’s highest wisdom and deepest consolation; and I want peace to reign knowing this is so.

A soul will undergo challenges not in vain, but in hope for God’s graces and divine plan.
